story basket

when I'm driving home by myself i think of great things to blog about...but then i forget....

so ill tell you a funny story instead!

soo today i worked from 10-240ish. then i went home showered quick and went to lakewood to babysit at 330. i didn't know how long babysitting was going to be, she could have came home at 9 or 1120. anyway...since these kids were 3 and 4 i really dont think they care if i wear make up or not. later that night i had a going away party so i brought my make-up to do at their house once i put them to bed. that didn't happen till 9. so once they were finally quiet and in bed, i thought id wait half an hour to go upstairs (to the only bathroom) and do my make up. 930 rolls around, and i was a little nervous id wake them up so i didn't go up yet. so its 940 i think "ehh ill go do it now" and BAM. mommy comes home early. yay, i get to go to my party earlier than i thought, but boo, i still haven't any mascara or nothin on my face to make it look like i got more than 5 hours asleep the night prior. so my solution? instead of driving all the way home, i stop at circle k on the way to lauren's house to use their bathroom. i figured since I'm in there already i could just by a drink or something so it does look sooo shady. but alas, their credit card machine thingy wasn't working. and i only had $1 to spend, plus random coins. which is kinda funny considering i just got paid in cash for baby-sitting....not the point. so yeah. then i pulled up by lauren's house and changed my cloths and attended the party.

good story huh??

i feel like i would have told it better if it was the first time i was "telling" someone, but alas, i told benji over the phone whilst in the car. he didn't think it was that funny, but he did think that it was really strange.....
