committed.

finished this frackin' book today.
do i recommend this book to you?
yes! if you are a old lady who's already gone through one divorce in her life and is thinking of marrying again but can't decide whether or not it is the best idea for her, even though she is madly in love with the man she is with. also, if you need a lot of different people insight cause you can't make your own freaking decision on your own...be my guest! finally, if you are some feminist, and think its a bad idea to have a republican marry your when you finally decide to get married, this book is right up your ally.

i unfortunately am none of those things. therefore, i hated this book. with a passion.

in her novel, Liz flat out says (paraphrased) "Does it sound like I'm trying to convince myself of something here? People, i am trying to convoke myself of something."
that something is marriage. i've always thought that you either know you wanna marry someone or you don't. black or white. you don't need to do tons and tons of research on it! you certainly don't need to right a book about it either! the only good part of the book was the last chapter when she FINALLY tells us that they got married and are legal and are happy.

boo this book was bad. I'm sorry if you have read it and have enjoyed it our if i have offended you in any way. but i disliked it. very very much.

thank goodness i've finished though, now i can start reading my required summer reading for school. i imagine it being 89430 times better than this book.
